Unlike the delivery of a standard product, modular water tank projects are an end-to-end managed engineering process. In this article we explain the steps a water tank project goes through, from needs analysis to commissioning.
1. Needs Analysis and Site Survey
The first step of the process is taken on site. The requested capacity, the nature of the water to be stored, the purpose of use (process, fire, drinking water) and the climatic/physical conditions of the installation area are analyzed in detail by expert engineers.
2. Engineering and Design
In line with the site data, the static and dynamic calculations of the system are made. The most suitable tank geometry, structural material (stainless, galvanized), sealing equipment and connection details are determined according to international standards (AWWA, NFPA, TSEK, etc.) and submitted for approval with technical drawings.
3. Controlled Production
The approved project data is transferred to the production line. Body panels and all hardware components are passed through quality control processes (surface quality, dimensional conformity) under factory conditions and prepared as parts ready for on-site assembly.
4. On-Site Assembly
The modular components are shipped to the installation area. Expert site teams install the system in a pre-planned order using bolted assembly technology that requires no heavy labor or welding. Thanks to this structure, tank parts can also be carried into narrow spaces and hard-to-access sites.
5. Inspection, Commissioning and Technical Support
When installation is complete, leak tests and mechanical connection checks of the system are carried out and the tank is delivered ready for operation. After installation, a fast and solution-oriented after-sales technical support process continues.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does modular water tank installation take?
The duration varies according to the capacity of the tank, site conditions and project scope. Bolted assembly technology helps shorten installation time compared with traditional methods that require welding.
Is special equipment required for installation?
The modular structure requires no heavy labor or welding; expert site teams carry out the assembly in a pre-planned order.
